NwSSU Prexy Shares Good News
September 12, 2022 - Flags and good news were raised at today’s flag raising ceremony. Hosted by the College of Management, the ceremony was attended by the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the university. Highlighting the day’s gathering was the oath of office of the newly hired and promoted employees, announcement of recent board examinations results, and the oath of office of the newly elected officers of the Federation of Faculty and Personnel Associations of NwSSU (FFPA-NwSSU).
Vice President for Research, Extension and External Affairs Dr. Riz Rupert L. Ortiz announced and encouraged everyone to participate in the upcoming Asian Conference on Resource Management and Governance this September 14-16, 2022.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ramil S. Catamora announced that NwSSU has produced a professional engineer, registered electrical engineers, and registered master electricians after the recently concluded board exams by the Professional Regulation Commission.

FFPA-NwSSU President Romeo Santos thanked everyone for his election and expressed his call for unity and commitment of the employees with the administration. He added that mutual support such as professional development activities, provision of adequate supplies, and responsible energy consumption will result to achieving departmental and institutional goals.
University President, Dr. Benjamin L. Pecayo, affirmed the pronouncements of the FFPA-NwSSU President. He assured that the administration will support the plans for the welfare of the employees. He also reminded everyone to settle disputes and combat disinformation through dialogue and proper administrative measures.
