In preparation for the upcoming SOCOTEC Recertification Audit, key officials of Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) gathered on April 14, 2025, at the 4th Floor of the Administration Building to align strategies and ensure institutional readiness.
The audit, scheduled for April 23–24, 2025, will reassess the university’s compliance with the international standard for quality management systems, with the certification scope covering the Management of Learning, Development of Research and Extension, and Management of Support Services for Higher and Advanced Education.
During the preparatory meeting, university leaders, faculty and other concerned personnel reviewed documentation, streamlined procedures, and addressed key areas for improvement to maintain NwSSU’s commitment to continuous quality assurance and service excellence. Discussions also emphasized the importance of collaboration across all units to uphold the standards required for recertification.
NwSSU’s pursuit of ISO recertification affirms its dedication to ensuring a quality-driven academic and administrative offices and workforce, further strengthening its position as a responsive and globally competitive institution.
