October 30, 2024 – First-year seminarians from St. Vincent de Paul College Seminary (SVPCS) visited Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) for a class observation with BS in Nursing students on Wednesday morning. This collaborative effort aimed to enhance student engagement and share effective teaching practices.

Guided by Mr. Ian D. Becoñado, the Multifaith Services Coordinator at NwSSU, the seminarians focused on classroom management techniques and fostering student participation. This initiative reflects SVPCS’s commitment to providing quality education to future priests while promoting interdisciplinary learning among students.

The seminarian students were warmly welcomed by Dr. Bianca Genel Bedia B. Bedio, RN, MAN, CHRA, Dean of the College of Nursing at NwSSU. Dr. Bedio emphasized the importance of such collaborative experiences in enriching both spiritual and professional development.

The visit allowed future healthcare professionals and priests to learn from one another, fostering an environment of mutual respect and growth. SVPCS continues to play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of its students, preparing them for future roles in service and leadership within the community.
