Delegates from NwSSU completed the training on Sustainable Tourism Development Planning by the Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism last July 10-12, 2023 at Asian Institute of Management, Makati, Manila.
The University’s team included Program Leader, Dr. Catherine B. Rodriguez and the members- Ms. Florabel Canaman, Mrs. Maria Lourdes Billate, Mr. Ghilson Amor, Mrs. Mia Cheryl Casiracan, Engr. Marlon Sobreviga, Mr. Gil Leovigildo Ancheta, Ms. Jonah Salcedo, and Ms. Marianne Acuzar. They were equipped with the tools of sustainable tourism development planning for the success of community-based tourism projects. Topics on business, marketing and communication, and sustainability plans were covered.
Also present during the event was Dr. Jesli A. Lapus – Chairman of Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism, AIM, and NwSSU Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Engr. Rhio C. Dimakiling.
