Bearing the theme, “Championing Character: Embracing Sportsmanship on the field of Play,” the University-wide Intramural Meet of NwSSU officially started on September 18, 2023.
At 8 a.m., the city was crowded and colored by the seven competing teams- CCJS Grey Sharks, COED Blue Falcons, COM Blue Tigers, CEA Tangerine Lions, CAT Maroon Lynx, CCIS Yellow Pythons, and SJC Green Dragons through a parade. Opening ceremonies followed in the university oval, which highlighted the Cheer Dance and Mascot Competition leaving the crowd in excitement. Meanwhile, a solidarity meeting of the coaches and tournament managers ensued at Business Development Center. Various booths also spread throughout the campus, which evokes jovial atmosphere.
In the afternoon, different games started. The Intramurals will end on September 22.
