Northwest Samar State University recognized its alumnus, Mr. Darryl D. Tambis, for securing 7th place in the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.
The awarding ceremony took place on January 2, 2024, at the President’s Office. During the ceremony, Mr. Tambis was presented with a cash incentive amounting to Php 70,000.00, in accordance with Board of Regents Resolution No. 10, Series of 2016, which mandates the university to honor the top ten placers in the PRC Licensure Examinations.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Myra L. Pilpa, Director of Student Affairs and Services; Dr. Ramil S. Catamora, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Engr. Rhio C. Dimakiling, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; and Dr. Benjamin L. Pecayo, University President. Dr. Pecayo personally handed the incentive to Mr. Tambis and extended his commendation for the alumnus’ exemplary performance.
