Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) Main Campus has reached another milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence as it recently received from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the Bachelor of Physical Education Program.
 
Under the provisions of the Higher Education Act of 1994, the COPC signifies NwSSU-Main Campus’ fulfillment of CHED’s standards for offering the Bachelor of Physical Education program. This certification, effective for the Academic Year 2023-2024, underscores the institution’s commitment to maintaining high-quality education and adhering to the regulatory requirements.
 
The rigorous evaluation process for the COPC took place on January 31, 2024, where NwSSU-Main Campus showed its adherence to CHED’s prescribed standards and requirements. Following thorough assessment and validation, the COPC was officially awarded on February 14, 2024, marking a significant achievement for the university.
