By virtue of Board of Regents Resolution No. 17, series of 2026, the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of the Project and Development Services Office, Dr. Gil Leovigildo A. Ancheta has been designated as the Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the University President following the early retirement of Dr. Benjamin L. Pecayo.
Dr. Ancheta will officially assume office as OIC-University President today, April 1, 2026.
With his outstanding knowledge and experience in the academe, public and private administration, and managerial competence, “Sir Gil” as he is fondly called, is now at the helm of the NwSSU community to a renewed commitment to the institutional values of resilience, integrity, service, and excellence (RISE) as we prepare to ascend to new feats.
