Last February 26, 2023, NwSSU represented by University President Dr. Benjamin L. Pecayo and the Local Government of Almagro, Samar represented by Mayor Amelia P. Cano signed the Memorandum of Agreement to formally secure the partnership in conducting programs and activities geared towards a more enhanced delivery of services to the constituents of the Municipality of Almagro.
The partnership will enable NwSSU to conduct Research, Extension, Instruction, and production related programs and activities, provide experts who will serve as speakers, facilitators, logistical, and support services in such undertakings.
Establishing linkages and partnerships is among the main thrusts of the University in order to effectively facilitate its core functions of research, extension, instruction, and production thus helping improve and uplift the lives of the University’s service areas.
